Over the last 12 years L&L has collected a great deal of information & identified persistent problems e.g.

• The newly qualified drivers who pack the car with their younger friends in the school lunch hour to demonstrate their new “expertise”, none of whom ever return.

• Those given a high-powered car for their 18th birthday who are dead a week later.

Inexperience is risky enough, without adding any level of alcohol. The evidence from overseas is indisputable, setting a zero BAC level saves lives.

– and of course even when the driver is sober – drunken passengers can be lethal.
