Notes:
The Novice period continues with partial supervision and restrictions and special identifying plates. The current UK system leaves out the Novice period almost entirely.
- Further supervised practice is not required yet we know that: It is after the practical test that:
- lack of road experience and conditions and
- over-confidence have dreadful consequences
Other countries have stopped giving youngsters a full licence immediately after passing the driving test & this is what we should do.
